Chan-Tales

Writing has been in her blood since childhood, but it was not until the age of 53 that Chantal Van der Taelen (b. 1963) found the courage to share her stories. In recent years, she has gathered a loyal fan base through her novellas, and since 2021, she has focused on full-fledged novels characterized by strong storylines, interesting characters, and a touch of humor.

All of this, of course, is sprinkled with a romantic, slightly spicy sauce, without, however, shying away from heavier themes. In 2026, she surprised primarily herself with a K-romance that flowed from her pen. Through her love for K-drama, and a certain K-pop band, she found a new source of inspiration that has not yet dried up. She lives with her husband in quiet Aartselaar.
